2nd SAN FRANCISCO FIREFIGHTER DIES IN THE LINE OF DUTY-"The Desperate Search"
Saturday, June 4, 2011: The San Francisco Fire Department is now mourning the loss of two of its members. Lt. Vincent A. Perez, and now, Firefighter/Paramedic Anthony M. Valerio, both of Engine Company 26, have died in the Line of Duty following that house fire on June 2, 2011. FF/PM Valerio died this morning at 0740 Hours. SF IAFF Local 798 has established Trust Accounts at the San Francisco Fire Credit Union (SFFCU) for the families of Lt. Perez and Firefighter/Paramedic Valerio.
