The Kansas City Fire Historical Society is introducing the commemorative badge for the year 2010. Proceeds from this badge will go toward the expansion of the fire museum at Union Station. The badge that we are replicating is the first issued badge design for Kansas City, MO Fire Department.
Each individual will be allowed to wear this badge from June 2009-December 31, 2010. All ranks will be included. Firefighter and FAO will be a silver badge for $55 and Captain through Fire Chief will be gold for $70. The following is what the badge design will include: The top will have Kansas City, MO. Your badge number will be placed in the center and your rank will be at the bottom (see photo's below).
