The 2009 “Battle for Blood” campaign will be held this year from Saturday, June 20, 2009, thru Friday, June 26, 2009. Please join this week-long competition between Police and Fire Department s in Missouri and Kansas to see which organizations can draw the most blood.

The winner of battle will depend on your blood donations. Please encourage your family and friends to donate blood during this competition on behalf of the Fire Department. This is a great event for our communities where we live and work. Everything we do is focused on serving our citizens and this is another important way to give back to those who are in need.

Kick-Off Day is Saturday, June 20th, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
FREE T-Shirt and FREE Hot Dog Lunch to all who register to donate blood. Police and Firefighting apparatus will be on display.
