Local 42 member Brian Cook has been actively involved with the March of Dimes since 2008 and this year he and his family is participating in the Tour De NICU Bike-a-thon, which will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011. The Cook family has entered the race with Team Daphne which was formed in memory of this niece.  The event will start at Mill Creek Park and will stop at various hospitals which all have NICU's (Neonatal Intensive Care Units).  The proceeds raised will go to the March of Dimes Foundation which continues to do research to help reduce the amount of premature births. 

Brian is seeking financial support in this endeavor to cover the cost of this bike ride, and the fees associated with entering the bike ride, food and beverages, insurance for the ride etc...

We would like to encourage other members who are avid bike riders to enter the event and help support the March of Dimes.  You may register for the event at the March for Babies website or see the attached flier.
