March 26, 2011: The Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment Fund (SAFE) which provides financial assistance to families of public safety officers killed in the line of duty, is sponsoring a scholarship contest for high school seniors. The winner will receive $2,500 Scholarship from SAFE. The winner will be awarded this scholarship at the Larry Stewart Safe Memorial Golf Tournament which will be held on May 16, 2011. 
You must reside in one of the following counties: Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte (Missouri) or Douglas, Johnson, Miami, Wyandotte (Kansas) to be eligible to apply. Application deadline is April 15, 2011. Please find the attached application.
