The IAFF Responds to President Obama Excise Tax on Health Care
Mar 07, 2010
On Monday, January 11, 2010, General President Harold A. Schaitberger responded to President Obama’s support of taxing health insurance plans as a means to finance the major overhaul of health care within America.

In 2008, then candidate Obama promised he would not raise taxes on individuals who make less than $250,000 annually, he vowed not to tax your health care insurance benefits and that under his health care reform plan, and individuals would be able to keep their existing coverage.
